EcoSci Academy Application Form

City of Concord release form -- This form is necessary for students working on projects at Newhall and Brazil Quarry parks.

Off-Site Project Authorization -- This form is required for field trips to Newhall and Brazil Quarry Parks for projects. Even if you are not in the Eco Sci Academy, students should fill out the form.

Mission Statement

The mission of the EcoSci Academy is to prepare a community of students to take an active role in protecting the future of our natural world.

The EcoSci Academy offers a comprehensive education in environmental science focusing on the complexity and inter-relatedness of humans and nature.

We strive to create a positive learning environment that nurtures independent thinking, creative problem-solving, teamwork, and effective communication skills. The curriculum is project-based, hands-on, and relevant to environmental issues.

Graduates of the EcoSci Academy are well-prepared to pursue their careers through the many environmental science related occupations, trade schools, colleges and universities.
